Frequently Asked Questions
Bridal
When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
We recommend starting to shop for your wedding dress 8–12 months before your wedding date. Standard ordering time is 5–8 months. But don’t worry if you have less time. We have many options for brides needing their wedding dress sooner, including rush options, and inventory availability.
What should I expect at my appointment?
For your appointment you will have a 1.5 hour one-on-one styling session with our highly trained stylists. You will have the opportunity to browse our collection of gorgeous dresses as well as having our stylists hand-pick gowns specifically for you and your style. Get comfy and enjoy the experience, our stylists will do all the work for you!
How many appointments should I book?
We recommend booking one bridal appointment at a time. Brides can get easily overwhelmed with back-to-back appointments in one day. Research the stores that align with your style, price range, and designers.
Do I have to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
We recommend booking appointments in advance, especially for the weekends as appointments fill up quickly. We accept walk-ins based upon availability only.
What should I bring with me to the appointment?
While not necessary, some brides like to bring the shoes they are going to wear on their wedding day or a shoe that is a close height. We also recommend wearing nude colored undergarments and pasties. You are also welcome to wear spanx or purchase some from our alterations department. We do require brides to wear underwear to try on our gowns. Other helpful things to bring include a hair tie/clip, water, and a positive open-mind!
Who should I bring with me to my appointment?
Your best hype crew! Bring people that will prioritize your opinion, what you want, and who share the same vision. Coming alone is also fine, our expert stylists will be able to help you along the journey!
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
You are able to bring 3 people with you to your appointment. Due to space limitations and limited parking, we are unable to accommodate larger parties on the weekend. However, during the weekdays we may be able to accommodate more guests. Please call us to coordinate if you have a larger party.
What if I want to bring more than 3 people?
If you want to include more than 3 people on your wedding dress journey, we recommend booking a V.I.B. appointment. V.I.B appointments are held after store hours so you and your guests can have the entire store to yourselves. You will be able to enjoy a personalized and private shopping experience as well as light hors d'oeuvres and champagne during the appointment. The appointment costs $250.00 for you and 4 guests. You are able to bring more guests for an additional $15.00 each.

We recommend cleaning and preserving your wedding dress after the wedding through a professional cleaning service. This will preserve your gown for years to come and prevent any discoloration that can happen to the fabric. We offer both gown cleaning and preservation services, plus our BG Brides get $25 off their preservation! We also have Wedding Preservation Kits that you can take home with you when you purchase your gown. This can be a great wedding or bridal shower gift to give to brides-to-be.
